From My Bookshelf
The following links connect to lists of books that I have found helpful or meaningful–or both–and that might be interesting to other people. You’ll notice that the list includes titles from lots of different topics–comic strips, children’s books, art instruction, neuroscience, writing inspiration. The areas also overlap. In some instances, you’ll find the same title listed in two different sections. However, I suppose that in a website that purports to address the intersection of Story, Psychology and Art, that can be expected. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list, just an offering of other people’s writing that has inspired my own. In some cases, I’ve tried to annotate the selections, to let you know why these books are on the list. Feel free to contact me if you have suggestions for other books that I should know about. Enjoy!
